Ursula David, Builder
Ursula David’s building career started in 1983 when she went to work for a local building company as a job coordinator. For the next ten years her knowledge of the construction business grew as she learned the nuts and bolts of the business. By 1993 she had developed her own taste in design, and established Ursula David Homes.
A BAGI, NAHB and IBA member since 1993, David continues to cement herself as one of Indy’s most innovative custom homebuilders. Her accomplishments include being a BAGI MAME Award Finalist in 1998, as well as an AIA Citation Award Winner in 2009 and 2014. David became a Certified Green Professional in 2009 and established Indy Mod Homes in 2012 to offer clients a greener, more sustainable version of her signature contemporary designs.
While David loves building homes, she also has a passion for helping others. She participated in her first Habitat for Humanity build in 2006 and has since participated in two more builds. David also serves on the board of directors at Big Car, a non-profit community arts organization.
